Most businesses don't need "a website" so much as a few specific things on the web: a site that brings enquiries, a portal where customers check their orders, an internal tool that replaces a spreadsheet. I build all three with Laravel on the server and React or Next.js where the interface needs it.
I'm Arun Tyagi, a web developer in Sector 58, Noida. You work with me directly from the first call to launch — the person on the call is the person writing the code.
A quick way to work out what you need
- Do you need people to find you on Google, or to log in and do things? The first is a content site; the second is a web application.
- Will your team change the content often? Then you need a proper admin area.
- Does anything need to connect to other software — payments, accounting, a CRM or a mobile app?
- Will the project keep growing after launch?
A brochure site with an enquiry form is a lightweight build. Customer accounts, dashboards and subscriptions need Laravel and usually React. I do the second kind best.
What I build
| Type | What it is | Where to read more |
|---|---|---|
| Business websites | Fast, editable company sites with a CMS, built so you can change text and images without calling a developer. | WordPress development |
| Customer portals | Logins for clients to see orders, invoices, bookings or documents. | Laravel development |
| Internal tools and dashboards | Replacing spreadsheets with CRMs, inventory, approval and reporting tools. | React dashboards |
| SaaS products | Multi-tenant subscription software with billing, roles and an admin panel. | Laravel SaaS development |
| APIs and integrations | Connecting your system to payment gateways, couriers, WhatsApp or a mobile app. | API development |
Choosing the stack
- WordPress for content-led sites where editors publish without a developer.
- Laravel for applications: logins, workflows, payments, reports and APIs.
- React for interactive screens behind a login — dashboards and form-heavy tools.
- Next.js where pages must load fast and rank in Google, such as marketing sites and storefronts.
The choice is made during discovery and explained in writing, so you know the trade-off before anything is built.
Why web projects fail — and what I do differently
Most web projects don't fail because of the technology. They fail because the person who sold the project is several layers away from the person writing the code, and requirements get lost on the way.
I ask the questions an account manager doesn't know to ask — about your data, your traffic, and who will maintain the system after launch. Every project gets a written scope listing what is in and what is out. If you ask for something new halfway through, I tell you the cost and the effect on the date before I touch it.
How a project runs
| Stage | What happens | What you do |
|---|---|---|
| Brief | Free call, then a written scope and quote. | Share goals, examples and constraints. |
| Build | Work on a staging URL with weekly progress links. | Review and give feedback. |
| Launch | Deployment, backups, redirects and analytics. | Approve the final content. |
| Support | Thirty days of fixes, then an optional maintenance plan. | Report anything odd. |
Standards I stick to
- Pages that load quickly on a mid-range phone, with responsive layouts tested on real devices.
- Technical SEO basics: titles, headings, meta descriptions, structured data and a sitemap.
- Security hygiene: updated dependencies, hashed passwords and validated input.
- Repository and hosting accounts in your name — you own the code.
Pricing
- Business websites: usually Rs.40,000–80,000.
- Custom web applications: usually Rs.1.2L–4.5L, depending on features and integrations.
The web development cost guide breaks these numbers down, and every project gets a written quote after scope.
Where I am a poor fit
If you want an artistic portfolio site with heavy animation, hire a designer-developer. If you need a team of six next week, hire an agency. If your budget is under Rs.10,000, a template builder is probably the right tool, and I will say so.
